- 1 pound of strawberries
- 3 T Pinehurst Olive Oil Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 T Honey (We carry local honey in store!)
- Sliced Sourdough bread
- Butter for grilling, best if room temperature
- 6 ounces of brie, sliced
- 2 T fresh basil chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cut strawberries and combine with Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar and Honey in a bowl.
- Roast in a lined baking dish for about 30 minutes, or when soft but not mushy
- After strawberries are done, warm skillet on medium heat.
- Spread butter on the outside of the sourdough slices.
- Place on slice on the skillet and layer with sliced brie. Top with desired amount of balsamic strawberries and chopped basil. Top with another buttered slice of sourdough, leaving the butter on the outside.
- Cook each side of the sandwich for about 3 minutes, until a golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Repeat with additional sandwiches, and enjoy!
