Wood Smoked Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1216 large white mushrooms
  • ½ Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • ½ Cup fresh grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 cloves minced Garlic
  • 2 T chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 1/3 cup Pinehurst Olive Oil Co. Smoked Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems
  3. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, 3 T Olive Oil and salt and pepper.
  4. Place a metal rack on a parchment lined baking sheet and arrange mushrooms on rack. This allows for excess water to drip off of mushrooms and results in a more evenly cooked mushroom!
  5. Use a spoon to fill mushrooms with bread crumb mixture until heaping, and drizzle with a heavy drizzle of Wood Smoked Olive Oil on each mushroom.
  6. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the mushroom filling starts to brown.
  7. Remove from oven and enjoy!
