Garlic Cilantro French Fries
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 Large russet potatoes, cut into thin strips
- 4 tablespoons Pinehurst Olive Oil Garlic Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt Sisters Pink Himalayan Mineral Salt (sold in store)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cut potatoes into thin strips or desired thickness.
- Add water to a large bowl and place potato strips in the water and soak for 20 to 30 minutes. This will remove excess starch from the potatoes and result in crispier fries.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425℉ and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
- Once fries are done soaking, drain and rinse. Then dry them well with paper towels.
- Toss the fries with olive oil and Himalayan Sea salt.
- Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip. Bake until they are golden and crispy which takes approximately 20 more minutes.
- Remove fries from oven and transfer them into a large bowl. Toss fries with cilantro and garlic and shave fresh parmesan over them. DELICIOUS!!
