Garlic Cilantro French Fries

Instructions

  1. Cut potatoes into thin strips or desired thickness.
  2. Add water to a large bowl and place potato strips in the water and soak for 20 to 30 minutes. This will remove excess starch from the potatoes and result in crispier fries.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425℉ and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
  4. Once fries are done soaking, drain and rinse. Then dry them well with paper towels.
  5. Toss the fries with olive oil and Himalayan Sea salt.
  6. Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip. Bake until they are golden and crispy which takes approximately 20 more minutes.
  7. Remove fries from oven and transfer them into a large bowl. Toss fries with cilantro and garlic and shave fresh parmesan over them. DELICIOUS!!
