Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb. lean (93/7) ground beef
- ¼ cup Pinehurst Olive Oil Co. Wood Smoked Olive Oil
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. Beautiful Briny Campfire Sea Salt (Sold in store!)
- 1 Onion, cut into strips
- 2–3 T Pinehurst Olive Oil Co. Wood Smoked Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 12 count Hawaiian Rolls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix ground beef, ½ tsp pepper, 1 tsp. Beautiful Briny Campfire Sea Salt, ¼ Cup Wood Smoked Olive Oil, and 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Press into 9 x 13 pan
- Bake for 15 minutes
- While beef is cooking, heat 2-3 T Wood Smoked Olive Oil in a skillet and sauté onion with ½ tsp. pepper and ½ tsp. Beautiful Briny Campfire Sea Salt, until caramelized. The goal is to have soft, and browned onions to really take on the smoky flavor, so do not rush this stage!
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the 12 together in a rectangle.
- Add Hamburger patty, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and caramelized onions, then top with the other half of the bread.
- Brush tops of rolls with Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil
- Return to oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and sandwich is warm.
- Slice into 12 sliders and enjoy!
