Pan Seared Garlic Steak

  • 2 lean strip steaks
  • 1 T Pinehurst Olive Oil Co. Seasonella Salt
  • 34 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 T Pinehurst Olive Oil Co. Garlic Olive Oil
  • 4 Sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Season Steaks with Seasonella salt on both sides.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet on high, then add Garlic Olive Oil to coat the skillet. Add thyme and minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add steaks and grill 4 minutes per side, resulting in steaks cooked to medium. Reduce or add cooking time as desired.
  3. Place steaks on a cutting board and loosely cover with foil. Allow to rest for about 5 minutes. 
  4. Cut steaks against the grain and serve.
